Nissinbo's ultra-wideband SPDT RF switch for automotive UWB

In recent years, the application of automotive electronic remote key RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) has not only used the previous Sub-GHz frequency band (i.e., frequency below 1GHz, 27MHz~960MHz), but has further explored the use of low-power Bluetooth BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) in the 2.4GHz frequency band for the next generation Smart Car Access or the use of ultra-wideband UWB (Ultra Wide Band) in the 8.5GHz frequency band to upgrade the new security system.

In the actual installation of automotive electronic components, in order to obtain a firm solder patch and introduce an automatic visual inspection device, the chip lead spacing is often required to be more than 0.5 mm, and a wettable flange packaging structure is required.

It is necessary to meet the automotive specification AEC-Q100 standard. In addition, some of the patch locations are very high temperatures, so the chip is required to withstand a temperature of 125℃.

To meet these stringent requirements, NISSHINBO has developed the ultra-wideband SPDT RF switch NJG1801BKGC-A that meets the AEC-Q100 Grade1 automotive electronics certification standard (operating temperature -40 ~ +125℃).

NJG1801BKGC-A has good characteristics in a very wide frequency range from Sub-GHz to 8.5GHz, and the lead pitch of the package is 0.5mm and it is a wettable flank package structure, so it is easy to use and easy to introduce automatic appearance inspection equipment.

NJG1801BKGC-A complies with the AEC-Q100 Grade1 automotive electronics certification standard and has passed the requirements of the automotive industry quality standard process audit VDA6.3 formulated by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Even according to customer requirements, production part approval procedure PPAP documents can be submitted.

Broadband operation

-This product has good characteristics such as 0.35 ~ 0.6dB insertion loss and 18 ~ 28dB isolation in a wide frequency range between 0.3GHz ~ 8.5GHz.

-Due to these characteristics, this product is not only used for automotive electronic remote key RKE related applications, but also for WiFi applications in the 2.4GHz band and 5GHz band.

With 0.5mm lead spacing and wettable flank packaging structure for automotive applications

In terms of automotive applications, 0.5mm lead spacing and wettable flank packaging structure are strongly required for chips, and this product already has them, so that a firm solder patch can be achieved and automatic appearance inspection equipment can be introduced.

Wide operating temperature range, in line with automotive specifications

-Compliant with AEC-Q100 Grade1 (-40 ~ 125℃) automotive electronics certification standards.

-For example, the body control module (BCM) that is often equipped with RKE function has various functions, so the peripheral components of the processor tend to heat up or even generate high temperature. The operating temperature of this product can reach 125℃, so the application range will be wider.

This product has also passed the VDA6.3 audit requirements and can also submit PPAP documents.
